One of the most fascinating sights of my travels in South America are the different dances and folkloric celebrations that I’ve been lucky enough to witness. If I had to choose a favourite, the energetic Bolivian dance Tinku would surely make it to the top of my list. The first time I came across Tinku, I was completely mesmerised by the colourful costumes, the vibrant music and the general happy mood of dancers and spectators. I was so touched by the whole experience that now I crave to learn this dance and have even added it to my Bucket List.

Which dances or folkloric celebrations have gotten your attention while travelling? Which are your favourites? Leave me a comment, I’d love to know!
