Finally the month of May is over! Just as April was the beginning of a new chapter, in May things took several sharp turns. The month started all good in Yolombó, but after we hit Medellin we had to face one challenge after the other. When we now look back, the first thought is usually: WTF?!?
Anyway, the details are yet to be posted. In the past couple of weeks I’ve had plenty of time to write and organise my photos, but the Internet connection is pretty lousy here and at the moment I can only post through my iPhone. We might go to Bogota to take care of several things in the next few days.
In the meantime, life is quiet and peaceful in Suesca. After the usual coffee and safety meeting, I’m getting ready to go for my morning jog in a few minutes. This morning, June arrived with some showers; but it usually clears up in the afternoon and we might have a chance to go climbing.
From here, we are trying to get to Bucaramanga as soon as we settle some things and then hit the Atlantic coast. Our visas expire at the end of the month, and the next destination is still undecided.
Que vida tan dura,palomita!!!!
