Located in the south of Colombia, the San Agustin Archaeological Park is one of the most important archaeological sites in Colombia. The park includes the largest number of megalithic sculptures in South America and it was declares a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1995. These impressive stone sculptures date from the 1st to the 8th century AD.
