Fontana di Trevi in Rome, Italy

The Trevi Fountain in Rome, Italy

Ver página en: Español

One of the most famous fountains in the world, the Trevi Fountain has appeared in many movies — most notably Fellini’s La Dolce Vita — and is one of Rome’s main attractions. Currently, the Trevi Fountain is undergoing the most exhaustive restoration in its 252 years history.

The project, which will cost over 2 million euros, is being funded by fashion powerhouse Fendi and it will take 18 months to complete. During that time, visitors won’t be able to appreciate the iconic masterpiece in all its glory. However, last week Fendi unveiled a suspended walkway over the fountain to give visitors a close up view of the works.

Have you visited the Trevi Fountain? What do you think about the latest renovation project? Leave me a comment, I’d love to know!
