One of my main reasons to visit Cochabamba in Bolivia, was to check out the awesome street art that adorns its walls. Thanks to Cochabamba’s Urban Art Biennale (site in Spanish only), a street art festival that just had its second edition this year, many internationally renowned street artists have left their marks in the city. For me, the street art in Cochabamba was the best in Bolivia.

This mural was actually done for the biennale’s first edition back in 2011. It’s nice to see that it is still pretty much intact. It’s a collaboration between Charquipunk and the duo behind Brigada Negotrópica, all of them from Chile. So if you like street art and are travelling to Bolivia, don’t miss the chance to pass by Cocha! To see the whole catalogue for the festival, go here.
